Helping Hands with Transport

 Spelthorne Volunteer Drivers is a registered charity (1084841) that was formed in 1977. We provide transport for the elderly and/or disabled of the borough of Spelthorne. We help those in need in our community to get to their medical appointments, eg, hospital, clinic, dentist, opticians, etc. We will pick you up from your home, take you to your appointment, wait for you, then take you back home.

We are a group of caring volunteers ready to help those who are vulnerable or in need of support in the TW15 postcode area.

If you need some shopping or your prescription collected, or transport to get to a medical appointment, our volunteers can help you out. Or we can just pop round for a chat if you're elderly, disabled or housebound.

We can help with odd jobs around the house and garden, and lend a hand if you're having trouble filling in forms or writing letters. In fact we'll consider any reasonable request for help, so just call us if you're in need.

All our volunteers are personally interviewed and DBS registered for your peace of mind.
